My name is Stephanie Chase and I am currently the art teacher at Conneaut High School. This is my first year teaching at CHS. I previously taught 15 years at CMS. I am a graduate of the University of Dayton with a BFA in art education with teacher certification, as well as a minor in Art History and I have my Masters in Education from Marygrove College. My mission is to expose all my students to the value of art and how it can help them in other areas. Art gives our students the creative spark they need to excel in all their other classes.

When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work. I told her I worked at the college- that my job was to teach people how to draw. She stared back at me, incredulous, and said, "You mean they forget?"
