Ohio Vax-2-School is a public outreach campaign to increase awareness of the availability and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and provide incentives to younger Ohioans to get a COVID-19 vaccination. The deadlines are quickly approaching for eligible Ohioans to enter Vax-2-School and win one of 150 $10,000 scholarships, or one of five $100,000 grand prize scholarships.
Ohio Vax-2-School has a series of registration deadlines, and to be eligible for all prize drawings, Ohioans should register as soon as the first dose of the vaccine has been administered, ideally by the first registration deadline of Sunday, Nov. 21. The deadlines are as follows:
- Sunday, Nov. 21, 11:59 p.m. – Register to be eligible for all drawings.
- Sunday, Nov. 28, 11:59 p.m. – Register to be eligible for the second drawing (75 $10,000 winners) and the grand prize drawing.
- Wednesday, Dec. 1, 11:59 p.m. – Register to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.
- How to enter: Ohioans age 5-25 years, or their parents or guardians, can enter online once they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Ohiovax2school.com or by calling the Ohio Department of Health Call Center at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634) between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
