Getting Involved with your Child's Learning Message from the superintendent

~~Family involvement strengthens student learning and improves academic achievement. Students with active family support have better attendance, pass more classes and earn more credits resulting in higher grade point averages and higher test scores. As a result, they are more likely to continue their education beyond high school and learn social and behavioral skills that help them at home, at school and throughout life.

Through the Web link below, learn about what children are expected to know and be able to do, how they are tested and how to assist them at home. By getting actively involved in learning, parents can help their children attain future success.

Welcome to Our New Website
As you can see, the Conneaut web site has changed! We have been working internally for the past few months to redesign the web site, and we will be making additions over the course of the next several weeks and months. The site will continue to evolve and keep you up to date on important school activities and information.

One of the reasons we chose the Digital School Network was because the site itself is very dynamic; in other words, it has the ability to change... a lot! While the site won't be a daily newspaper, by any means, it is certainly our goal to keep the content fresh and exciting in an effort to entice you to return often.

So, we invite you to take a look now, and then keep checking in with us from time to time; hopefully you'll notice the changes, the new features, etc. Also, we encourage you to sign up for the News Update to get the latest news forwarded directly to you. Look under announcements to find out how to subscribe.

Be sure to visit the calendar component of the web site. Sign up for weekly or monthly reminders for the events and activities you are interested in.

Thanks for visiting and come back again, soon!
