AUCTION ENDS IN 1 WEEK!!!!!
https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/championship-banners-auction
Over 20 years ago, all schools did away with the individual conference championship banners that were hanging on the walls. There simply was not enough space for schools to continue to add them. As a result, every school now has banners for each individual sport hanging in their gyms. These banners list the years of conference, district, and regional championships. Conneaut's conference championship banners have been in storage. In an effort to raise money for the athletic department and to get those banners to people who can display them, we are auctioning off the old banners. The auction ends on APRIL 30.

Stay Connected with Conneaut Area City Schools – All in One Place
Conneaut Area City Schools is making communication simpler and more streamlined for our families. We will be transitioning away from Remind and moving all district and classroom communication into our official CACS app.
Why the change from Remind to a dedicated CACS App?
✔ One app, less clutter – Reduce “app fatigue” by keeping everything in a single, easy-to-use platform
✔ Real-time notifications – Receive updates directly from your child’s teachers and the district
✔ Google Classroom integration – View classroom posts and updates without needing additional logins
✔ Cost savings initiative – Helps the district reduce expenses while maintaining strong communication tools
🚧 Coming Soon:
We are currently enhancing the app to support direct messaging between staff, students, and guardians. While this feature is in development, messaging for guardians is not yet available. We will be sure to notify everyone as soon as this functionality is ready.
We encourage all families and students to get ahead of the rollout and download the app today so you’re ready when these features go live!
Our goal is to provide a smoother, more consistent experience for parents and guardians—keeping you informed and connected without the need for multiple apps.

The Slack isn’t here to play it safe — they’re here to play it loud.
Blending Hard Rock, Punk, Metal, and Alternative into one high-voltage live experience, The Slack delivers the soundtrack of Gen X and Gen Z with grit, hooks, and zero apologies. From the raw punch of The Ramones to the southern swagger of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the arena-sized anthems of Journey, their setlists hit like a time machine with the volume knob snapped off.
The band brings together seasoned players from past and present acts including Grundge-DNA, X-Band, Gimme Sugar, Monkey Wrench, The Avondales, and Barcode — creating a lineup stacked with chemistry, experience, and stage-tested firepower.
At the helm is powerhouse lead singer Tyler Pew, backed by the dynamic vocal presence of Jess Lebzelter and the thunderous low-end grooves (and vocals) of Chris “Fryzilla” Fryfogle on bass. On guitars, Dave DeLeone and Eric Fleming trade riffs and soaring leads with precision and punch. Dan VanSlyke drives the keys with texture and intensity, while Tony Todaro anchors it all behind the kit with hard-hitting, no-nonsense rhythm.

Kings of Castles is a high-energy young rock band made up of 6th and 7th grade students from Conneaut who are already making serious noise in the local music scene. What started three years ago as a few boys “messing around” with instruments in their manager Tony Todaro’s studio quickly turned into something much bigger—a true passion for rock music and performing.
Since those early jam sessions, Kings of Castles has grown into a tight, dynamic group that blends powerful original rock songs with their own fresh take on the hits that inspire them. As a young generational cover band, they bring new life to fan favorites from the ’90s and 2000s, while also building an impressive catalog of original music that proves they’re more than just a cover act. Their originals showcase big riffs, driving rhythms, and the kind of fearless energy that only comes from musicians who genuinely love what they do.
Fronted by AJ Pasanen on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, the band delivers strong melodies and confident stage presence. Vinny Todaro drives the sound from behind the drums with explosive energy and steady precision. Jack Joslin lays down the groove on bass, locking in tight rhythms that give the band its backbone. On lead guitar, Jaxen Lemak brings soaring solos and electrifying riffs that define the Kings of Castles sound.
With talent far beyond their years and a passion that keeps growing louder, Kings of Castles is proving that rock isn’t just alive—it’s being reborn by the next generation.

LARIE (LJ Stark, Aaron Johnson, Pablo Navarro, Isaiah Rose, and Ethan Taylor) is a band of teenage boys who came together for a Geneva choir show. After performing there, they found their love for playing together. They played together for about a year until they got too busy to continue. However, for the first time since separating, LARIE is coming back for Spartanfest 2026.
