Today, and every day, we thank our education support staff for their many contributions to our schools. Their support is invaluable and partnership is essential.
Check out the infographic pictured, which provides voters a quick overview of ISSUE 28 on today's ballot. The 2 mill Permanent Improvement levy will not increase millage.
Here are the facts for this Tuesday's Issue 28

This Saturday, November 4th, the freshman class will be hosting a craft and vendor fair at Conneaut High School from 9-3. Over 50 crafters and vendors will be spread throughout the cafeteria and hallways. The show will feature a visit from Santa, concessions, a 50/50 raffle, and a basket raffle with winners being drawn at 2:00. Admission is just $1 for adults. Students and children are free. Please use the Jackson St entrance. Come out and support local crafters and vendors and the freshman class.
Also, please remember there is no school tomorrow, Friday, November 3rd. We have already completed the first quarter of school and our staff will be in training and completing records. Have a great weekend!
In an effort to maintain funding and financial stability for the district, the levy on the ballot will generate approximately $444,000.00 per year. This proposed levy will help protect the investment our community has already made in our facilities.

Shout out to Nutrition Service Supervisor Elizabeth Gillette and Central Cafeteria Staff Kim Tantari, Darla Bixby and Cathy Ezzone for finding new and creative ways to improve school lunches. Yesterday they served 201 "walking tacos" to the middle school students. They also provided that same lunch to the District Implementation Team and State Support Team who were meeting in Mrs Riley's office. Rather than ordering out for lunch, the adults ordered from the cafeteria, too! Thank you nutrition service team for being a positive change in the district!
Hey, Spartans! Help us make Friday night football a safe and enjoyable experience for fans of all ages. Please see the information below as you plan your trip to Ricaurte Stadium for tomorrow night's game vs. Edgewood. We appreciate your support!
Hey Spartan Families, we are so excited to have our students back in the buildings full time on Wednesday! Please make sure you stop today or tomorrow at all the open houses where you will get to meet the teachers and learn some vital information:
1. Sample some breakfast and/or school lunches and complete the lunch forms. This year students will either be free or full pay.
2. Make sure the address we have on file in our system is current so busses can be routed correctly from day 1. Due to limited drivers and busses at full capacity, we must adhere to the walks zones, and will not be able to transport open enrolled students. Once the year starts, we will be able to reevaluate the transportation situation. If anyone knows potential bus drivers who would like to work for the districts, please give us a call.
3. If you haven't updated Final Forms, there will be staff to assist you with looking over last year' s information and letting us know of any changes. Once that is done you will receive your child's chromebook. If you have had an address change you will need to provide proof of residency.
4. Learn about Title I programs and other curricular and extra curricular opportunities for your child.
We hope you all had a wonderful summer! Make sure you set the alarm Tuesday night!!
